  • Seekers
    Humans from the Black Shrine, tasked with tracking down and capturing Nalushan people to take back and deliver to their masters.

  • Goblins
    Small creatures created from the union of Humans and several forms of Lethe-spawn, unleashed to instill fear, sew discord, and create havoc.
    • Three Kinds of Goblins commonly encountered:

  • Tengu
    Crow-like people descended from the union of Humans and several breeds of Lethe-spawn, used as scouts spies and guardians of high-mountain structures.

  • The Faceless
    Among the most disturbing for many of the people of Nalusha, the Faceless are Humans who have learned to adopt the form of one of the varied races, and become stronger in the process.
  • Lethe-Hound
    Roaming the wilds since the breaking, the Lethe-Hounds have been a terror for many a caravan or pilgrimage, and are known to attack Humans as likely as Nalushans.

  • The Fallen
    Their presence presaged by the smell of old rot and wet decay, the Fallen are the dead of Humanity, given rise by its own priests into a willful and willing army against Nalusha.
    • Two Varieties are commonly encountered:
      • Shambling Men
        • Found in groups of 3d10+5
      • Fallen Soldier
        • Found in squads of 2d10+3
        • Often (60% chance) Accompanied by 1d2 groups of Shambling Men

  • Lesser Lethe-Spawn
    Monsters born from the pure discord and antipathy of the Black World, the Lethe-Spawn are monsters of horrific perversion and unsettling fecundity.

  • Greater Lethe-Spawn
    These Lethe-Spawn are village destroyers, collecting victims into themselves and using them to spawn further monstrosities into the world.
